Grilled Cheese with Garlic Confit and Arugula

Ingredients:

  • 8 thin slices rye bread

  • 1/4 cup Twisted Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/2 cup Garlic Confit (see recipe in main menu)

  • 4oz baby arugula

  • 8oz grated cheddar, gruyere, fontina, or manchego

Directions:

  • Brush one side of bread with Twisted Garlic EVOO

  • Spread Cheese on non-oiled side of 4 slices

  • Add some arugula on top of the cheese

  • Spread confit on non-oiled side of remaining slices and press firmly onto cheese and arugula slices

  • Saute in large pan on medium heat about 3-5 min on each side until golden brown
